Feeding The  Poor & Homeless
Approximately 3600 Poor & Homeless people are fed annually at the Soup Kitchens sponsored by The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation.

The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation has been sponsoring Soup Kitchens in collaboration with The Wagner College Nursing Community Outreach Program and Nursing students periodically volunteer services in Staten Island, New York, for the past 25 years on the Second and Fourth Thursday of every month.

The Soup Kitchen has been paused since COVID-19 began. The Foundation intends to restart the Soup Kitchen in due course. 

Our Causes

Cataract Surgeries & IOU Lens Implants

Eye surgeries are conducted for the removal of cataract and the implantation of IOU Lenses. One hundred surgeries are conducted per month since June 1996 to date.

Soup Kitchen

A Soup Kitchen is sponsored twice a week in Staten Island, New York for the past 20 years.

Approximately 3600 poor people are fed annually through the Soup Kitchens sponsored by the Foundation.

Charitable Hospital & Research Centre

A hospital has been built in Patna, India, in collaboration with The Bharat Vikas Viklang Punarvas Kendra, to provide prosthetic limbs to the disabled and opened a surgery ward for Polio surgeries for young children.

Adopt A Highway

We have also adopted a one mile stretch of the West Shore Expressway, in Staten Island, New York through the Adopt-A-Highway program from the department of transport.
